📢 Discover HSTDR, LEM's new sensor for high-power EV traction inverters.
Why is it so special?
Because it not only shows great performance but also the smallest footprint of its kind.
With the race towards the highest distance range with one single charge, high-power integrated traction inverters for electric vehicles need to combine superior performance with being as small and light as possible.
The HSTDR fits the bill perfectly.
☑ Measuring just 29mm x 21mm x 12mm and weighing 27g, this new current sensor is significantly more compact than a traditional C-core sensor, making it much easier to be integrated into space-limited inverter boxes.
HSTDR is not only unique for its size and weight (50% less that its predecessor HSNDR) but also for its performance and easy integration thanks to its integrated busbar.
HSTDR key features:
◾ Open Loop transducer using the Hall effect sensor
◾ High insulation level
◾ Unipolar +5 V DC power supply
◾ Primary current measuring range up to ±1500 A
◾ Maximum RMS primary admissible current: defined by the busbar, the magnetic core or ASIC T < +150 °C
◾ Operating temperature range: −40 °C < T < +125 °C
◾ Output voltage: fully ratio-metric (in sensitivity and offset).
